Your reading stays local
PDFs are read and cleaned in your browser. Pasted text also stays in browser memory. We do not upload your documents, filenames or extracted text to our server, analytics or an AI service. Refreshing or closing the page clears the reading state.
Browser storage
The reader remembers your chosen words-per-minute setting in session storage for the current browser session. It does not save a document library. We store your analytics permission choice locally for up to 180 days; this contains only the choice and its date. The application does not set advertising cookies in this release.
Website requests
Your browser downloads the website, PDF worker and supporting font assets from our hosting provider. The host receives normal connection information, such as IP address, browser information and requested page, and may retain operational logs. Documents are not included in these requests. Do not put sensitive information in website URLs.
Google Analytics and product analytics
When configured and permitted by your analytics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand visits, page/session engagement and product actions such as preparing a document or starting the reader. Event metadata is limited to input type, page and word counts, selected WPM, processing duration and the generic sharing method.
We do not send PDF bytes, filenames, document titles, extracted text, pasted text or individual reading words. We use generic page titles and known public page paths without query strings or fragments. Referrals are limited to the referring website’s origin, without its path or query. We do not enable form tracking, site-search tracking, session replay, User-ID or user-provided data collection.
GA4 uses cookies after analytics permission and provides broad device, browser, approximate geographic and referral/source reporting and standard engagement measurement. No geolocation permission is requested. Google receives normal connection information; we do not store IP addresses in the application. These measurements are not a record of what you read. Advertising and consent
This release does not load live advertising. The site may use advertising technologies later. Before enabling them, we will update this notice with the providers and storage involved and connect appropriate consent controls. Consent may be required depending on your region and the technology used. GA4 is blocked until you choose Allow analytics. You can decline without losing reader functionality and change or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences on this page. Your choice is restored on later visits for up to 180 days. A missing measurement ID or incomplete analytics configuration also disables analytics. The integration respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Advertising consent remains denied. Withdrawal disables measurement, updates Google Consent Mode and removes this site’s GA cookies. Previously sent data cannot be recalled. These controls cover analytics only, not future advertising.
External tools and your choices
The guide includes a fixed prompt you can copy to an AI assistant of your choice. Copying sends no document anywhere. If you independently share material with another service, that service’s privacy practices apply. You can use the reader without sharing material externally.
Contact the site operator with privacy questions or requests about website-related personal data. We cannot retrieve documents that remain on your device.
